Hello! I'm Vivian Vo — a story artist who’s passionate about visual storytelling.

Drawing and storytelling have always helped me clear my head, especially during creative ruts. I grew up loving movies, but I often felt a disconnect — I rarely saw anyone who looked like me or shared my experience on screen. As a queer Vietnamese American, representation in animation once felt out of reach. But seeing more inclusive stories emerge over the years has been incredibly meaningful and affirming.

The traditions, culture, and community I’ve grown up with as a Vietnamese American are core to who I am. Just as importantly, being part of the LGBTQ+ community has helped me feel confident and whole in my identity. Without either part of me, I wouldn’t be the artist — or the person — I am today.

My goal as a storyteller is to bring those experiences to life through my work. I aim to create stories that are inclusive, emotionally resonant, and grounded in underrepresented perspectives — so others can see themselves reflected, too.
